Wellbeing and pupil support
At the Centre for Skills and Learning (CSL), we believe that wellbeing is at the heart of a happy, safe, and successful learning community. We are committed to creating an environment where every pupil feels valued, supported, and able to thrive both academically and personally. By promoting positive wellbeing, we encourage open conversations about physical, emotional, and mental health, helping pupils to seek support when they need it and to look out for one another.
We recognise that everyone experiences challenges at different times, and that wellbeing needs can change throughout a young person’s journey. Our aim is to ensure that no pupil feels alone and that appropriate support is available whenever it is needed.
Alongside our pastoral care system, we offer a range of wellbeing and support services designed to help pupils overcome barriers to learning, build resilience, and maintain positive mental health. Access to these services is based on individual need, ensuring that pupils receive the right support, from the right person, at the right time.
